Hi everyone, ( admin please delete if not allowed ).
So I read a a few days ago on a Tarot site that if you get the death card in your reading, to take the card from behind it and focus on that area of the reading rather than the death card itself, the death card is relating to something/situation that is coming to an end.

Sounds good.
I know some people draw the card before and after Death, it shows what is ending and what is beginning.
I had a list of other Majors you can do this with too. I'll try and find it.

Drawing a card before and after is a great idea. I would be interested to see the list of other Majors, if you manage to find it.

Finally found them.
I can't credit them as I have no idea where I found them....
Going through a period of change? Shuffle the deck and find The World card. The cards surrounding it will give you advice on how to cope.
Things not going as planned? Shuffle and find Wheel of Fortune card. The 2 cards either side are the solution.
Soul searching? Shuffle and find Hermit. Surrounding cards will shine a light on the issue.
Ready to start something new? Shuffle, find the Magician. The cards either side will guide you.
Feeling stuck. Shuffle and find Hanged Man. The card behind tells you how to get unstuck.
Having trouble/arguing with someone? Shuffle, find 5 of Swords. The card behind reveals the solution.
Need some self care? Shuffle and find Empress. The card behind tells you what you need to do.

Turns out they were screen shots and not in my spread book at all. Honestly my memory is so bad.

That's fine. I'm happy to post things like this, if it only helps one person on their journey, then it's worth it

Want to get some practice readings in but don't have anyone to read for?
Pick a story (fairytales are great) and read about the main character. See if your cards tell the story.
If you watch crime programmes, do a reading, while watching, see if you can figure out who the murderer is, what their motive is.
Even Bake Off is readable, try and see who is going to win the challenges or who is going home.
There's so many ways to play.

I've noticed with some of my Tarot decks that are flimsy that they are bent, which happens from the heat. Does anyone have any advice on how to get them back to their original flat state?

Any chance you have a really heavy book handy you can press them under for a few days. Lay out a few small piles and lay the book on top, it may work, it may not.

No, I don't have anything big or heavy enough. I could try a few books on top of each other, that might work.

Okay so I thought I would try out your Technique 55 which I appreciate you posting.
Going through a period of change? Shuffle the deck and find The World card. The cards surrounding it will give you advice on how to cope.
Okay so I have the empress and the ace of cups, I need to nurture and focus my energies on my inner self, this could relate to being happy in your own skin, so you never achieved that flat belly and six pack, but hey ho you are beautiful as you are, yes my body is maturing as I will be coming up to menopause in a few years, so love them curves. I have new beginnings and things to enjoy that bring me happiness, keep my cup flowing ( With lots of wine please )

Light Seer Tarot by Chris-Anne
3 of swords
There has been some real heartbreak in this friendship spanning over a period of 25 years. Everytime we have taken breaks. Sometimes 5 years, sometimes 2 or 2 weeks. Things do change between us but a few things never do and they keep stabbing me in the heart. Ouchy.
5 of swords
It is wearing me down( again). Am I really letting this continue? Have I learned nothing from it?
10 of pentacles
Well well, has it finally ended and am I really free of it?

I'm having problems with someone regarding a communication issue. The Moon is telling me not to look for problems when they don't exist. I'm seeing problems because of my own insecurities. By not blowing things out of proportion, I'll see the situation for what it is and the issue will resolve, bringing heartfelt happiness.
