I love that this deck portrays how I often read the 5 of Wands, it isn't alwayd about arguing and squabbling with a group, I see this card as the arguments we have with ourselves.
The more we engage and try to reason with our inner conflicts, the more harm we do to ourselves, while doing little else.
It's that piece of art you want to create but, I'm not artistic, I don't have everything I need to do it, where should I start, have I got the time, what if it is rubbish? You see what you're doing to yourself, you've tied yourself up so you can't even begin. You've defeated your self.

Yeah, I read about the full lockdown coming. That card suits perfectly, with the two figures crammed together, unable to move, stuck in the same place. Very apt for lockdown showing lack of freedom.

It may look to others like it's only a small thing, but it's beginning to create some stress. The responsibility is overwhelming, the strain is starting to show, but it's a task that really felt worthwhile at the beginning.
Relinquish some of the responsibility or share the burden would certainly make the task easier. Feeling like it's not anyone else's problem is foolhardy and guilt laden, A problem shared is a problem halved.
Asking if it's worth it doesn't seem to be the right question, maybe it's a case of asking, if I give up now, what will I learn?

Take a lesson from Mother Nature. Stop trying to do everything at once, sit back a while and watch how things happen organically. Mother Nature doesn't stress about trying to make the flowers bloom while growing the grass and getting those leaves on the tress, she just gives them the resources they need to happen as they happen.
Slow down, it'll get done when it gets done.

Aw this reminds me of my daughter and our dog. Her patience with him is admirable. He is so old and requires so much attention due to his increased needs, she never flackers, never tires or complains.
He knows that whatever she does for him, he can trust her (he has trust issues and is nervous aggressive). She claims he is her soul mate (tongue in cheek) he is at his most restful when she is at his side. Their bond is a very teachable lesson.
Today we had the difficult conversation that comes when an elderly pet is starting to struggle, this image reminded me that it's not that time just yet.

She will but she is stronger than she realises. I've told her the final decision is hers to call. She'll know when it's time cos she is so in tune with the little fluffy guy.
