Lenormand Exercise - Two Card combinations Empty
PostSubject: Lenormand Exercise - Two Card combinations   Lenormand Exercise - Two Card combinations EmptyMon Nov 09, 2020 3:09 pm

This exercise is designed to help learn the meanings of the cards.

The first card pulled represents a noun - what something is. The second card is a verb, adjective or adverb -  it is describing the first card.

Ugh, I’m over-thinking this pair.

My first thought was journal my observations and experiences during this period of isolation.

Then I took a peak at the book and came up with Communicate Boundaries.

But it could also mean government correspondence?

Looks like your having a writing + block   Very Happy ( two nouns tho lol)

I think anything works. For me, I am not looking at the literal traditional interpretation, more getting the message from the visual itself. I am also using catchy play on words.

I just did a post about this and it completely vanished into thin air!

I was thinking: official correspondence, legal communication, or redtape (correspondence + bureaucratic). Or even information about isolating.

What book are you using?

Thank you for your helpful replies! I find I’m quite rusty at this and need to find the time for more Lenormand (and Kipper). The book I used was Anna K’s which came with the deck. She breaks down the meanings of each card into subcategories: Nouns, Activities, Attributes, but I’d like to get good at going with my gut and reading the visual. Lol, writer’s block says it all to me Mad

Ooooh that's interesting. I didn't know Anna K had a book on Lenormand. I'll have to check it out, thanks!

I'm the same. Very, very rusty. I'm trying to get back into it but not having too much success as yet unfortunately. I'll keep trying though.

I find it more difficult to learn than Tarot. I think because you can't bounce off the pictures but have to use more specific meanings. Tarot is far more fluid I think.
